- Check production URLs, credentials, permissions, and event destinations.
- Store secrets securely and confirm the rotation procedure.
Request handling
- Validate input and parse documented response schemas.
- Test success, validation failure, and rejected-credential paths.
- Confirm timeout, retry, and duplicate-request behavior.
- Define how to recover an operation with an unknown outcome.
Events and reconciliation
- Verify event authenticity using the documented mechanism, if events are supported.
- Test duplicate delivery and processing failures.
- Establish the source of truth for final operation state.
Operations
- Redact sensitive information from logs.
- Monitor integration failures and define an escalation owner.
- Prepare a way to stop new requests if an integration issue occurs.
- Confirm support and incident contact details with KPPAY.
